Jan Falconer is the Founder and Managing Director of Kirkatoft Group (UK) Limited, bringing over 30 years of senior leadership experience across the public, private, and third sectors in the UK and New Zealand.
A strategic advisor and former senior local government executive, Jan has led major programmes in economic development, regeneration, investment, and sustainability for councils including Cannock Chase, Stafford Borough, Ashfield District, Harborough Distirct, Orkney Islands, Dumfries & Galloway, and Aberdeen City.
Throughout her career, she has successfully delivered complex regeneration and economic strategies, attracted inward investment, and developed policy frameworks that strengthen communities and local economies. Jan’s work has included pioneering initiatives in hydrogen energy, innovation hubs, and inclusive growth — often working with central government, businesses, and community partners to translate strategy into measurable results.
A Fellow of the Institute of Place Management and a Member of the Institute of Economic Development, Jan also holds an MBA and Masters in Public Health, reflecting her holistic approach to economic resilience and community wellbeing.
